• Split leather is created from the corium left once the top-grain has been separated from the hide, known as the drop split.

Brand new leather gloves may be a little hard , and will need to be seasoned with regular use. With glove seasoning and proper care, a leather Trident softball glove will better fit the user. A better fitting glove leads to more comfortable and confident catching.
